Entry 4: My Most Unforgettable Moment

A Farewell

My most unforgettable moment is probably at the time when I underwent my most recent graduation ceremony in my junior high.
The said event actually started with a series of plights. I was totally unprepared physically. I felt ill, my heels hurt a lot, I messed my make-ups and hair-dos, I left my invitation card at home, and the road was utterly hectic with traffic jams.
What about my mental condition? Evidently, I was so excited I can't help to get nauseated. Well, it's my graduation ceremony, after all.
Fortunately, as the day went along, I made it to fix all the unwanted problems.
Actually, the thing that I was really looking forward to was my performance. To be clear, I got to perform a song in front of the graduates. The song's lyrics were fully composed of a formerly made poem. It encompassed a message directed to our utmost best friends. We performed as a group. The song had relatively high notes; the prior fact made me quite nervous.

The time had finally come. We've spent a lot of time to practice for this very moment. It was time to give my all.
And, we made it safely! Horray! I said 'safely' because it was.. not a perfect performance per se, but was good enough to not get our pride sacrificed. We told each other to not sweat it.
Subsequently, I enjoyed the rest of the day with a smile widely plastered across my face because it went really smooth.
After the event had ended, because it was a farewell ceremony, I took a lot of pictures with my friends. And, I got a picture with my crush! It was like a combo bonus so I couldn't help to squeal upon it.
At the end of the day, I took a studio picture with some of my best friends. I came home pretty late but it was worth it!

I hope I can share more moments in this page, as I have treated it as a, more or less, diary. See you around in another time.

Place I'd Like To Visit

Hello there. Now, i would like to tell about a certain place that i want to visit: Musée Du Louvre or The Louvre Museum.

The Louvre or the Louvre Museum is the world's largest museum and a historic monument in Paris, France. A central landmark of the city, it is located on the Right Bankof the Seinein the city's 1st district (or ward). Nearly 35,000 objects from prehistory to the 21st century are exhibited over an area of 60,600 square metres (652,300 square feet).

It is the world's largest museum and the second most visited one after Palace Museum in China, receiving more than 9 milion visitors in 2014. It is also a historic monument in Paris, France.

The Musée du Louvre contains more than 380,000 objects and displays 35,000 works of art in eight curatorial departments.

One of the main reasons in me wanting to visit the place is because I've been taking quite an interest in France in general. I also deeply fancy in appreciating various kinds of artworks, especially ones that are made in prehistoric era. That's why I find it really enticing to go and observe the said museum.

I really hope I can visit it someday in the future with my own hardworks.. I'll toil my heart out to strive for my dreams.

Entry 3: Megantara

Now I will recount all of my perks (and plights) during Megantara Curtural Festival!
Actually it didn't go too well for me, as I could also infer that it simply was a terrible day in my perspective.
First, I arrived too soon. By that, I mean, WAY TOO SOON. I was expected to arrive in the afternoon, instead I went there at about 7. Did i tell you that I was chosen to parricipate in the Fashion Show and was wearing thick make up? It was all so tacky, and humid, and hot, and practically terrible. Woe was the day!

I really felt like going home, but there was not much that I could do about it. I tried to stay strong and invisibly cried in agony over my pride. I felt so embarrassed to death so I just stayed in my seat and meddled with my phone through half the day.

As soon as the show ends I almost cried in gratefulness. It's been a long time since I relish so much over a simple turn of event. It had been a long day and it's time to get lit and just have fun.

The most interesting event in the festival is the cameos: Ran and The Changcuters (the name's seriously ridiculous I'm almost embarrassed to type this). At the end of the day I met some (special) people and had fun with them. I went home at 8. I didn't get to see RAN though, but i thought that it was all enough and I'm exhausted anyway.

That's probably all that I can tell about Megantara. Even though it was practically a bad day.. but it was fun. Sure. Fun.

I'll see you again. Boo.

Entry 1: About Myself

My name is Santika Devi Permata, feel free to call me Tika or Santika. But I 'd prefer to not be adressed as Santi, because i don't quite fancy the title.

I'm 14 and becoming 15 September this year. I sit at first grade in senior highschool.

Previously, I studied in SMPN 1 Bandung. Subsequently continuing my study in SMAN 3 Bandung for the next three years from now.

My hobbies are inconstantly often, usually i give myself a freedom to go without any restrictions such as doing stuffs with structured schedules. Sometimes I draw, read, sing, or just do whatever i feel like doing at the moment.

I love books! Even though I read in a staccato pace but I suppose I am quite an avid reader. My favorite books are The Prophet, Beyond Good and Evil, and almost all of Andrea Hirata's works.

I also really like doing arts. There's a limit to the amount of things one can express through the tongue, but the amount of ideas you can convey through art is infinite. I think the underlying motive of an art is not to describe oneself.

I consider myself as introverted, not a type to approach. But if you'd kindly converse with me i'd definitely respond with my utmost effort.

If i somewhat don't respond to your calls, chances are i don't see you because I am terribly short-sighted. Even though, you'll catch me often without my glasses. This act corresponds to my favorite saying which is "To percieve is to suffer" said by Aristotle.

I guess that's all on what I can tell about myself. I'll catch you again in later period!

Journal: We Won WTTF

Yesterday, Saturday 20th, we were participating in an event called WTTF (World Tournament and Techno Fest). At 6.30, we gathered in Bali Field and filled in our absence list. After that we got assigned a map, missions list, and two seniors to assist us throughout the event. We were ordered to oppose a senior class, XI 8. Each location was represented with riddles in which needed to be solved. Each station has a planet name. We went on our feet to Taman Tongkeng to clear the first task.

The first task was making a robot doll only from a cardboard box and an empty water bottle with limited tools in five minutes. We barely made it, but at last we were the winners.

And then, we moved to Taman Foto for the next mission. We played Twister. Actually, Daffa and Wildan played it. We lost to the opposing team because we made a mistake in the progress.

Next, we came back to school and gathered in the corridor. We go inside a class to watch a short clip about robots and answered a certain question.

We walked to a field nearby the New Hall and played Human Chain. I got to be a part of it. It was enterntaining.

And then, there was an eating contest. We were assigned to finish a meal consisting of spicy noodles as quickly as possible. Sylva and Rivan got to represent our team. Unfortunately we lost.

Moving on, we came back inside a class to play Tekken with consoles. I didn't quite recall whoever played it, but there were four rounds and we won all of them. The ambience was quite chaotic.

We walked to Taman Musik to play the next game. It was a quiz, and the 2nd winner got to be the actual winner. We were the first so we lost the game.

Next mission was playing a commonly known game called Flappy Bird. Those who get the highest score got to be the winner. We won.

And the last mission was playing Queens. I didn't remember the exact name of the game, but the point was the Queen needed to snatch the other team's Queen's scarf. Who won the game? I wasn't paying attention that much because I was busy complaining about the weather. It was hot and humid and just practically uncomfortable. I was starting to feel like going home.

At the end of the day the winners were announced. I was honestly surprised our class won! The whole event was fun, a great way to spend my time. Event though i didn't participate much in it, i was truly entertained. I hope that things will get more and more fun in the future.
